I woke up 6:30 in the morning suffering from neck pain due to an accident I had had. My first thought was to turn on the TV to fill my mind with nonsense in hopes of ignoring the pain, instead I put on the Meditation: Your First Steps meditation CD. Instead of filling my mind up with TV nonsense I decided to be still for 10 minutes to the peaceful sounds and guidance of Barbara J. Faison. I thought I was too much of a busy thinker for anything on a CD to work but instead I was patiently brought to a place of calm that gave me such a wonderful peace of mind when starting my day. I even forgot the pain.. for ten minutes. This cd is now a staple in my life. What a smart choice I made in putting it in. I'm am grateful Ms. Faison thought about us beginners enough to explain everything. This CD is all anyone would need to take their first steps towards peace of mind and clarity in their day.
